 -Two slices of bread

-A slice of bologna

- A slice of cheese

-A bag of chips (your choice)

                First get out a plate. When you have the plate, place on it two slices of bread side by side. Then get out a piece of bologna. Place the bologna on a slice of bread. Then get out a slice of cheese. Place the cheese on the other slice of bread. When this is complete combined the two slices of bread to form your Bologna sandwich. Finally, get out a bag of chips and place a handful on the plate.

                I can remember waiting on my sister to pick me up after school. When she arrived I would jump in her car more than ready to go. Her music was always loud and disturbing to my ears. Amanda would always ask me “How was your day?’’. The ride home was never quite with me. I was six and she was seventeen. I was filled with questions. Amanda would yell “Slow down girl!”Out of all of my siblings she is the oldest and the one to babysit me every Thursday.

                As we got home I jumped out of the car and ran inside. My sister would always make me get out my homework so she could help me with it. It toke no time to do. Then she would do her homework and complain about it. As she did her homework I sat and watched cartoons. When she was done she would go into the kitchen and call me. This was what we called our Thursday afternoon lunch. My job was to pick the chips for the day and get the bread out. I would sit on the bar as she made our bologna sandwich. When she was done we would take our food in the livening room, watch cartoons, and hang out.

                Now my sister is grown and lives far away. I don’t ever really get to see her. I miss spending time with her and I cherish all of my childhood. Now when I do get to see her or babysit for her I do the same thing with her kids. I never thought out of everything I would miss making bologna sandwiches.

The "role”of a woman”

    When you hear the word women you can’t help but think of cooking, cleaning, and everything being taken care of. For many years women were to present themselves' that way. To some of my peers I know that sounds demented. I can't help but agreed a thousand times while I was reading the article from Dennis Cauchon about women coming along way in the world and now being the breadwinners of their household. Females were raised to become women then, get married so that she may meet her husband's every need. They were inhibited to act any other way. Being a woman I have strong defers in this subject, although I still deference the people that feel diffrent.Thank goodness the coarse times have changed along with women's ''role'' in everyday life. Now we have strong, independent, and intelligent women.

                In this article I've read about a soldier (Kaththea Stagg) that is the food winner of her household. She got married in two-thousand and eight to Tom Dunham who stays home to cook, clean, and take care of their two sons. In the old days this wouldn't have been acceptable.  Dunham would have been going out to work every day not his wife. It says that wives out earn their husbands twenty eight percent of the time when both work up from six-teen percent twenty-five years ago.  There is another female who is a software trainer and a teacher part time at community colleges. The husband of the software trainer also stays home to take care of their house and kids. Its wonderful how both working women can do something they love to do while their husband’s gets to do what they want and gender not get in the way. There are the other cases where the women don’t have any help at all. Like single mother Kim Spight. She is a FedEx worker. She started taking care of her daughters at a young age and still does. She loves her work and her family.

                My opinion not only comes from the things I read about or seen on television, it comes from personal experience.  No I’m not a single mother or anything like that. I've just been around quite a few in my life time. My Aunt is a single mother. She never lets any man tell her what she can or can't do. She would work hard every day and then come home to cook, clean, and take care of her children. She is also one of the happiest people to be around. She worked hard for what she has and she makes sure everyone knows it. Amanda, my sister got pregnant at a young age by her college sweetheart. Now she works all day while he stays home to take care of their son. She loves to work and her husband love to take care of their son. My mother's best friend, Kim works. She and her husband do. Even though her husband use to make enough that she wouldn’t have to work she still did it. When he told her no she told him yes. She now makes more money than him. They both work and gender does not get in the way. Not just one souse does the chores but, they half household chores.

                It’s delectable that the gender of a woman doesn’t get thrown out there. Now a day’s people have learned not to be as bias as before. A woman is not just a housewife and a man is not always the provider for the family. Just because their "roles" switched no one will judge them with it being a lot more common now a days. From the kitchen to the head of the business women have improved for the better. Not only does this benefit females, it also benefits a man who would like to stay home and be Mr. Mommy. It benefits the family in many ways because then they would have a lot more money to support themselves if both parents were working. Not only is it sometimes necessary because of this economy but, it may just be wanted.
